Well my girlfriend took a position in Louisville Kentucky over the summer as a travel nurse and so now I am left to try to find some summer work. I have a BS in Geology so I was hoping to find something within the degree, probably just volunteer at Mammoth Caves for the summer. The real questions are, what is there to do? Any fellow Buellers? AND where are the best roads down there! |

No job leads, but Louisville is a great southern river town with a large bike scene. Enjoy your summer. |

Visited a college buddy who was from there - things to do... -the horse track is nearby -Knobb Creek gun range is a REAL interesting place -drag strips, if you're into that kind of thing - I remember getting in for free I'm there are others, but we did those and drank, mostly, lol |

My friend lives in Louisville and has been un employed for over a year now. I hope you have better luck than him. Might as well get in some good ridding while you are looking for a job. |

I go to Kentucky for lock education. I've heard other folks call it the lock capital of the states. U Of K is a huge school too. If you volunteer at the Mammoth caves post it up. I'll be down there in July for more lock training. I'll be riding down to the school southern Ohio Hamilton and Alpha safe companies are there so is Kaba Mas The safe and lock business is good in hard times first time down there I was posting on the Kentucky Buell thread and one guy, I don't even know if he is on Bad Web anymore, told me about Rabbit Hash which is a little historic general store on the river that borders Kentucky and Indiana. Its a biker hangout ride destination the roads there are awesome. Look inthe archives for 2006 I think spring time 2006 (Message edited by babired on May 19, 2011) |

I've been wanting to get to Rabbit Hash for years and still haven't made it. If you go to Frankfort you can take 127N up to Union Ky. then west over to Rabbit Hash. That'll make a good day trip this summer. 127 is a good road for riding. |

I know I would love too! I live in Columbus Indiana but often ride down to Madison In, which is on the the other side of the River! When the weather is nice you will see alot of bikers walking around and eating at the resturaunts that sit on the river! Lots of Good Twisty roads in them parts! |

Well, my three day weekend ride just fell through, and I'm pissed. So I called up another friend to go to Rabbit Hash tomorrow. I'll scout out a route |
