Ok no Yankee hating in this thread please. I am trying to piece together a trip out to NYC with my son to see the Yanks play the Brewers in late June. Anybody been to the stadium that can suggest sections to look for and probably more important those to avoid? Will be a short trip if it happens but I am trying to get all the costs together to pitch to my wife. Luckily I have airline mileage and credit to use and am still attempting to find lodging. Thanks- Sam |

Tix costs are high. For example, I was looking at going to a game this weekend: cheapest seats are going for about $65. And since interest is high, it's not like other towns where you might get a cheap seat and easily move down closer. They fill the seats in the Bronx! |

Looking to go to maybe $100's, preferably closer to 100, a ticket as this is a special trip. I have started to price tickets on stubhub and from the Yankees directly so I was already expecting a decent price tag. Just not sure where to sit |

Stay in Jersey take the Yankee clipper to the game it's an unforgettable experience!!! Port Imperial from weehakin NJ take the Yankee clipper it goes all the way around the Island of Manhattan. The ride takes quite awhile but it's worth it NYC is breathtaking at anytime especially at night from a river view!!!!The stadium is a blast you can get good tickets for $100 bucks try for the foul line in right field (get a lot of fouls that way) |

+ 1000 on the bed bugs. I had those SOBs once it was an awful experience. I actually hate them more then I hate NY baseball. |

Trip is looking more and more like a go. I think I will pay a little more for good tickets as this is a but of a one time deal. Found a Holiday Inn Express 0.81 miles from the ballpark that looks promising. |

lol pick a hotel farther away. The Bronx isn't all that pleasant from my recollection. But hey I'm a Chicago guy so i can't be sure. |

Bad time to be asking for restraint about the Yanks though isn't it. I love watching them implode. |

The Fifth Avenue one is the one I was thinking of staying at. The report from 2010 I am ignoring because it is essentially jibberish. The other one was from 09. I am not too worried but I will keep it in mind. |
