Seems good but why is there an array of holes in it? Are crates required to have holes or something? I'm just saying that a table with less holes is typically a better table, right? |

Seems good but why is there an array of holes in it? My Dad would have looked very seriously at me if I asked that question, and explained. "Those are lightening holes". |

My Dad would have slapped me on the back of the head, laugh, and say, "It's to make little boys like you ask questions." Is it any wonder I ended up this way? |

My Dad would have said, "How would I know, do I look like the crate making fairy?" ...and people wonder why I can be a little sarcastic at times...... Chris C |

Mine would have responded with, "They're there to make you ask questions. Works pretty well, huh?" EDIT: just noticed the identical response above. Woops. Great minds think alike? (Message edited by pkforbes87 on May 17, 2011) |

Me: Dad, how far is it to the moon? Dad: I don't know son. Me: Dad, why is the ocean salty? Dad: Beats me. Me: Hey Dad, how big is the world's biggest snake? Dad: I've got no idea. Me: Am I bothering you with all these questions? Dad: No son, how are you going to learn anything if you don't ask questions? |

There will be no more Buells being shipped because HD discontinued Buell Motorcycles. So why is this just now coming out? Does it have anything to do with Erik Buell Racing? It is a neat idea if they were planning on shipping direct to the customers. |

So this is how this one went Me : Dad why do Motorcycle crates have small holes in them: Dad: Most are shipped by boat. They get thin coats of light oil at the factory for fending off salt corrosion, and the holes help them dry out once they get away from the dock. However so they can breathe is more fun. Not sure if he's right or not but it's a better answer than i had. |

Average distance is 239k miles. It varies due to the orbit.
quote:Me: Dad, why is the ocean salty? Dad: Beats me.
Well, the average Blue Whale releases 400 gallons of semen when it ejaculates.

Or you could just use the google. |

That's a great idea. They have to crate it anyway, make the crate useful. I hope my 1190rs comes in one! And I hope it says ebr instead of BUELL but either woulod be good |
