The "Odd breakfast" thread made me do it. What prescription meds do you take? You can add your age if you like. I'll start. None. Just turned 60. G |

None. I was off the heavy meds 24 hours after they sent me home from the hospital in '08, and on nothing but Ibuprofen. Now I only take that once in a while. If I hurt something REALLY bad (like, straining too hard while putting an engine in a car), I have an over-the-counter from Canada called 222. Goooood stuff. Take one, wait 15 minutes, all better. I *have* a bottle of Lunesta if I have trouble sleeping. Happens sometimes these days, with all the crap going on in my life. Other than that...'tis the season for Claritin. One of those in the AM with my multivitamin and coffee, and that's all |

None. Flushed 50 Vicodin and 50 Oxywhatever after surgery last year. Just didn't look like healthy alternative. |

Zip, Zilch, Nada. Haven't had as much as an aspirin in probably 35 years. Can't sleep? Stressed? Take a walk. It's free, works like a charm, and no side effects. I do like my coffee, though! That's strictly over-the-counter, no prescription needed for the type I drink. I'm in my LATE '30's REALLY late 30's. Like Canfield. (Message edited by leftcoastal on May 15, 2011) |

My bet is that if I came over for a "pacing lesson" I'd be a total failure. . . between you preaching patience and Penny plying pie . . . well, I'm going with the pie. The experience borne of age tells me "pie over pacing". For the benefit of those who **think** they could resist . . . well, you don't know the pie we're talking about . . this it the pie legends are made of! |

2 Coffee's with blood pressure pills in the morning, then 10 to 15 Winfield's (cheapish Australian cigarettes) a day and a couple of times a week a six pack or 2 of Heineken followed by a couple of JD's and my doctor says I'm the healthiest 80 year old he has ever seen, age 59. |
