Probably some haters bullied a kid and he took a 9 mil to school for revenge... Parents need to teach there kids not to be bullies and hate on people, but if they were like that their kids will be as well. People really need to think before they say stupid shit or do something stupid to anyone... Because you never know when that nut case is the person your hating on. |

From the school's website: "At approximately 8:36 a.m. a male identified as Cody Nathaniel Willcoxon was seen at the entrance gate at Fort Leonard Wood with an AK-47. After being questioned by FLW Military Police the suspect fled the scene, and was pursued by members of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Dept. and St. Robert Police Department in a silver passenger car. The suspect then began to shoot at the pursuing officers, and he headed east on I-44. Spike strips were set up on I-44 which resulted in the suspect exiting at the Rolla 184 Exit. The Suspect then began shooting at Rolla Police Officers and members of the Phelps County Sheriff's Dept. as they pursued him. The suspect then drove through several areas in Rolla where he continued shooting at officers. The suspect vehicle stopped near McNutt Hall at Missouri University of Science and Technology near University Drive/Hwy 63. The suspect fled from his vehicle on foot with a long rifle. A perimeter was established by Law Enforcement Officers around McNutt Hall and the building was cleared by law enforcement officers. Several minutes later the suspect broke into an occupied residence in the 1000 block of Crinoidal Ct. The suspect demanded the keys to the resident's car and stole it. He later fled the scene in the stolen car and since that time neither he nor the car has been located. The stolen car is identified as: Stolen Vehicle 2003 Ford Taurus Charcoal Gray in color MO License ROLLAB (The license plate is a Rotary Club International personalized license plate) The vehicle has several stickers on the back window (American Flag, Air Evac, and Rotary Club International)" |

He was caught about 10 miles south of Rolla on Hwy 63 about 20 minutes ago....I've not heard if he's alive or not but believe me when I say I've never seen that many police cars in this town... ....meth is a terrible thing (Message edited by harleyms on May 12, 2011) |

You really think it's meth? I would think if it was meth, he would have sold the guns for.... meth. |

Meth was found in the suspect's car. Yet another example of what addiction can do for you... Let's hope this guy doesn't have any kids. |

Extraordinary restraint shown by the police. I think I would have popped the little punk after the first shot he fired. Case closed. |

Ok meth was involved. But talk about irrational! What possible motive led him to this? "I'm going to head over to that military base for some quick cash" What????? |

Dude. The meth addict is the epitome of irrational. On top of it he probably thought the space ships were coming. It is called the reptile brain. |

That he only has a gunshot wound to the hand is not an issue of restraint, but more likely the result of diminished marksmanship due to the totality of the situation (ie; pursuit, adrenaline pumped up, threat firing back and possibly moving). (Message edited by Paint shaker on May 12, 2011) |

If Seal Team Six had been after him, he wouldn't have a gunshot wound to the hand. |

Wow, only 4 posts in, and someone has already tried to make the shooter the victim, with absolutely zero information. ~SM |
