Well, its not really the long trip thats the issue right now. Its the gas prices. Being laid off, i have to pick and choose what trips i wanna go on. I forgot that thats the same weekend of the Slimey Crud Run. I have always wanted to go to that and i think thats what I'm going to do! | ||

Mike & Frogman, there's a Comfort Suites the next exit up from my shop that's $100/nt or there is a smaller/older motel just outside of Bellwood that's $40/nt. I'll have to get the name of it, even though I drove by it this morning.... The place that I can't remember the name of, is a bed and 4 walls, don't expect anything more than maybe wi-fi and a hot shower. Definitely not fancy or upscale. Maybe a 1 1/2 star kinda place. Thanks Dan. The Comfort Suites is between you and Clearfield? Will you be riding on Friday to meet us this year? Not sure when and which way we will be coming yet. Was waiting to see who was going. Hey Don, I remember your sweet black S3T! You reworked the exhaust, if I remember right... We usually try to get in Tom and Joe's before 8:00. After that it fills up pretty quick. We can loop by the Days Inn and pick you up. Where Rkc00 is staying isn't that far from me, so we could loop by. Anyone game for Clem's Friday night? They close at 8:00. So we would need to be there no later than 7:00. | ||

Someday...the Clem's location you were at 2 years ago has closed. The new location is off of I-99 at exit 45 (Grazierville), once off the exit, go north maybe 1/4 mile, it will be on the left. If you cross the iron bridge, you've gone too far. Their new location isn't much bigger than the original place. But they do have indoor sit down seating now! I'll PM my cell number. | ||

Ya know, you can just not get enough BBQ! The current plan is to still meet at Clem's tonight for BBQ at 6:00. Clem's new location for those that haven't been there yet is off I-99, exit 45. Take the exit ramp to the traffic light, turn right on to business route 220, go 1/4 mile north. Clem's will be on the left before the iron bridge. Saturday morning 8:00 for breakfast at Tom and Joe's Saturday 10:00: Leave my shop in Bellwood for the ride to Denny's BBP Saturday Noon: Denny's BB Pub for burgers Saturday night: time tbd Clem's BBQ again! That just gives you the option of trying the pulled pork one night and the rib meat or chicken the next! Call me at eight one four nine three two 7405 if you get stranded, lost, or just need some Buell counseling! hahaha  |
