That is kinda crazy... those EF 5 are pretty rare from what I understand... is Huntsville Alabama pretty messed up then too ? |

Downtown Huntsville and most areas around it are fine. We live up just south of Harvest. If you look at that link above, that long pink line is the one that came through here. Although the track on the map is just a tad south of the real track. Zoom in on Harvest. We are right near the intersection of pine grove and Sam Thomas. The tornado was about 1/2 mile north of there. It left a destruction path 130 miles long and about 1.25 miles wide. There was also one just south of us by about the same distance. But it was smaller. |

Looking at that NOAA map, all of their tracks seem to be shifted south by a couple of miles. |

Got internet back today . We had a few days without power and we lost a few trees , roof damage etc, nothing compared to the rest of Ringgold. 3 big trees fell right between the shed and the garage with the bikes, but no damageI was sitting on the back porch just watching the storm when it came through and we ran to the basement. |
