That is sweet, and would be a great compliment to my M2 in the garage.

The engine configuration seems to make the engine/transmission package much larger then it needs to be.

I sat on one at Daytona. It LOOKS larger than it is.

It is a fairly small bike that looks big.

Oh, and it sounds friggin' amazing in real life! Think small block V-8.

I too sat on one in Daytona. It is not a big bike. I don't know that I will be able to afford one, but if I can it will likely be my next bike. I am expecting it to cost in the Ducati Multistrada price range based on what one of the Motus guys told me. Of course, I still love my XT, so I'm really not looking to buy another bike for a few years yet. Maybe by then Erik Buell Racing will have a sport tourer out for me to consider.

I'm probably done. I think that's my next bike. I love sport touring rigs, don't have a reason, they are just the ones that grab me. Did y'all friggin see the lean angles on the track? Just spectacular. A MINIMUM of 161hp @ 7800 rpm, 122 ft-lbs @ 4500 rpm. On 87 octane. @ 11.5-1 compression. Wet weight 550lbs. Wow. R

That chain drive kills it for me. Unless Erik pulls a rabbit out of his hat (and that wouldn't surprise me), this is going to be my next bike:

I'm with you on the Guzzi crusty; but the Griso would be my choice.

The GDI is going to be an awesome evolution in motorcycles. I believe we will also see further refinements in the transmission as well as further weight savings.

Has anybody speculated on the price on this? If it's in the $15k range, I might actually be a player. This thing really set a hook in me. R

I asked the Motus guys about price in Daytona. They told me in the Ducati range. I am guessing about $20,000.

Yeah, I think you are looking at the high teens to low 20's. They said it would be in competition with the BMW tour machine.

Nice promo piece. Reminded me of the promo videos of the 1125R back in the day
