The Mrs. and I were in a victory/honda/kawasaki/ducati dealership today to look for a pair of armored pants for the next time our youngest skins his butt when he falls down. The dealership just started handling victory motorcycles and they had a bunch of them in. I commented that they had just bought Indian. Owner said he had been on a conference call and they are not bringing out new Indian bikes now as they are do R & D for a year or so. Asked if Victory would ever bring out a v-twin sport bike. Guy turned into an a$$hole. "Why? No one ever sold any of them anyway." I commented that there are 130,000 Buells out there and a big hole in that market now. His response, "there is one born every minute. They don't perform, can't keep up with the metric bikes. Have to have a handicap and the 750 Ducati's run away from the 1000 cc Buells." Wow! I won't be buying the armored pants from or anything else. Can't wait for the 1190 to crush some of these other bikes. And for the next generation of American sport bikes to come along. |

Good friend of mine is a Vic/Triumph/Suzuki dealer and would love to become a dealer for the 1190,He is seriously considering dropping zuke because the lack of ordered inventory verses supplied units they have "allowed" him the last two years. |
