That's a good old fashioned subway car . . . but it, like the M8, is a Kawasaki (likely built in the Yonkers plant).
But . . the M8 is looking very cool. |

Yeah, they're Kawasaki cars. Kind of a pain to work with, but what can ya do. They're doing the new WMATA 7000 series cars in DC I'm about to start working on, too. I also do a great deal of work with Bombardier (read: Rotax ... I wish).
I'm up at the LIRR Hillside facility often for maintenance and reliability checks, and we usually stay near Time Square ... are you near there, Court?
