I'm leaving Mass on Saturday and will be at the track on Sunday afternoon. I'm staying at the track in the one of the rooms on the start/finish line. I'm pretty pumped as this is my first time on a track other than Loudon. |

9th Annual Mid-Atlantic Ducati Track Days | Fun Days hosted by Cornerspeed® Cornerspeed, the official rider school of Virginia International Raceway, is hosting Mid-Atlantic Ducati Owners' Club 9th Annual Track Days/Fun Days at Virginia International Raceway on April 18th & 19th, 2011 and again on September 12th & 13th, 2011. Beginner Group: For riders with no track experience or no school diploma from an accredited school. Orientation required. Thanks for the links. Denise has done the Cornerspin school, and had high remarks for the course and the instructors. I asked them about taking a Cornerspeed course at VIR on my Road King, and they said I'd pretty much be in the way and advised against it (actually, they snickered first, and then shot holes in my ego balloon). The blurb above says all brands of motors are welcome - I wonder if they've got something set up that's bagger-specific?? FB |

Does anyone know if there is anything cool to do in the area around VIR? I'll be with my wife and I'm sure she isn't going to want to hang around the track with me for 2 days. Any good restaurants? |

Jerry, You can borrow my Uly, but it's got a tall seat, and if you bring it back with a busted right front turnsignal, yeah, I caused that... It does have a new set of PR2s on it though. |

Sorry I am late to post this, as you and your wife are probably finding out... there is nothing to do around VIR as it is in the middle of nowhere. There are some good restaurants, just hook up with Degsy and the other guys. Have fun man, VIR is a blast. |
