XL jacket, blood red top with red sleeves, black perforated bottom. The jacket is like new, not even broken in yet. Starting bid will have to be set at $125, and that is a steal. Free shipping in the U.S. Will end 4-17-11 10pm edt Send me a pm if you are interested, I can send a few pics. |

From another thread:
quote:wow that is a 600.00 jacket I have the same one bought it back in 2000. Whoever gets that will really get a deal
quote:Have the same one and would buy this one too if it were my size... excellent jacket and a steal!
Folks, thanks for your bids! Remember, 100% of the winning bid gets forwarded directly to Jim and Tonya Rainey to help them cover medical expenses, etc. Rock on, BadWeB!!

Anyone have any sizing information for how "big" an XL is? I want it. |

All I can add is I'm barely 5'8, 170 lbs at the most, and the jacket is too big for me. The sleeves completely cover my palms, and there is extra room in the shoulders, chest and gut. You might try the Vanson website sizing chart. Thanks for looking. |

I have a couple of those in XL. I'm 6' even, weigh about 230, they fit me just about right. Snug, bit not too tight. rt |

Good news- I'm 6' and 200ish... I've got the Vanson synth jacket and pants that came out about when the Ulysses debuted- still wear the pants with my newer Buell synth jacket when I'm out for a hot lap... I'm assuming this jacket has the provisions to zip up with some matching pants, right? If I ever get to do another track day, I'll need a good set of leathers... |

Squids, the jacket does have the zipper for attaching Vanson pants, but the bottom part to sew on to a different brand of pant is missing. I just inspected the entire jacket, not even a scuff on it. All of the zippers work just fine. Thanks for the bid, and good luck! |

Okay guys, it's less then twelve hours 'till crunch time. Count your ducks, talk to your wife if needed, and make your decisions. Jackets like this don't come around very often. I'll probably be sleeping when the auction ends, my days start very early, but I want to thank everyone that placed bids on my jacket. Jim and Tonya are great people. It's the right thing to do. Once I have the go-ahead from Kristi, I'll drop it off at the UPS store right around the corner. Good luck to the winner, hope it finds a good home. |
