Up for Jim is a 1995 Buell S2 Thunderbolt brochure. This was given to me by another board member and what a great way to pay it forward. Great shape for it's age (I think I was a freshman in HS?), fantastic pictures inside. I've got to believe these are pretty rare. Are you a tuber guy? Get a rare piece and help Jim out too!!! See it! Hear it! Feel it! All yours for a starting bid of $15. Free shipping within US and will be packed securely for safe transit. Auction ends 04/17/11 10 p.m. EDT |

Alex, I don't think I've ever told you the story. It was THIS photo... ...that inked the deal on me buying the BLURR back '96. I *think* Henrik got this S2 brochure several years ago in an auction here on BWB (possibly for Matt?). Dude, you're bringing back enough memories I'm bordering on overload. I so miss the BLURR... That is indeed a pretty rare brochure. There was a bifold, 4 page, version that was more common. The complete one is nothing short of stunning and some of the best photos (done by Laughlin-Constable team under the direction of Tina Daniels) of Buell ever taken. I took one with me when I circled the United States on a Buell on the Lap of America. I had dealers and folks I met along the way sign it. Then, when it was framed, I had the entire brochure left intact and folded so that one of the photos shows in the front and when you turn the frame over all the other pages are there. Man . . . that does bring back some wonderful memories of the 44 states I rode that Buell in. |

And talk about way cool - guess who just came up with the original brochure he thought he auctioned off in the past! Absolutely mint and the pix above (sorry Alex, no offense intended) just do not do Alex's or the newfound brochure justice. As Court mentions, incredible photography. Soooooo..... for another $5.00, Alex's brochure could by yours Brad and I will step away from the computer. No, better yet, I'll pick up the other $15.00 for you and it is all yours |

Jerry hinted that his brochure may have gone to Matt's auction, but I did not recall ever seeing one. Very cool he found his, it has some beautiful pictures, and no, mine do not do it justice. Prior |

Alex, I'm not sure I've ever told this story in print before, and it's for sure I can't do it justice at this late date tonight, but this photograph - which is from the most-excellent-brochure you're auctioning off for Jim and Tonya - spoke to me in early 1996: I *thought* I had auctioned off this brochure for charity here on BWB before. Maybe I offed a duplicate. Regardless, here's a down 'n dirty pic (the sun has gone down, so I've lost one of my light sources...) from your Buell S2 Thunderbolt brochure. This is, perhaps, the greatest photograph of all time. No, not just of Buell motorcycles. I mean of anything - this is perhaps the greatest photograph of all time. Ride to lean my brother, FB |
