LOL - yes I have bought a lot of used cars, so have most folks, I say your missing something, if you think this is just about religion, it is about diversity, and America's ability to stand together even though we are so diverse. Religion is a good example because it is such a touchy subject, and he dealt with that in good form...really not declaring myself an Obama fan, however, I have noticed that people foolishly underestimate him, and his abilities, and because of this are always one step behind his next action, in reaction. He's definitely upped the Demm's game, where are the sharp young Repub's to curb and balance his rhetoric - I see none taking up the gauntlet so far - EZ | ||

Ez the problem he does not believe what he says it was a speech some one else wrote for him. I recognize evil when I see it. It always presented as polished pretty and attractive. His actions and attitudes speak volumes. As for him being in the leaderhip game kinda hard when your always on vacation he has played more golf in two years than Eisenower played in eight! Nicely written speech. I tire of the echo chamber special effects, but it's a trademark, and anyone else doing so would, rightly, be accused of copying. Like Tommy Chong, He did it best, first, and anyone else faking brain damaged hippie, or zeuslike thunderous voices, will be a poser. As to content? subtle. Well crafted. But I am aware of a disturbing fact. There are, AFAIK. only 2 mainstream faiths that permit, and even encourage, dishonesty about your faith. President Obama was raised in one, and converted to the other. He loves the call to prayer of the first like no other sound. ( he says so ) I think he loves the second even more, but my guess as to why certainly would differ from his ghost written autobiographies. ( I've read both.... also Hillary's College Thesis, which I recommend to any voter. Obama's is Not Available. ) In the faith he was raised in, it was, originally, a lesson learned from the Jews, who suffer terrible persecution for their faith, and refusal to deny it. So The Prophet decreed that his followers could deny their faith in public, to spare their & their families lives. His followers were not popular in much of the Medieval world, because of the warlike nature of The Prophet & his teachings, and the intolerance built into them. Intolerance is not a monopoly. Some later teachers of that faith broadened the permission to lie (about your faith) to it being permissible to lie to unbelievers, if it advanced the faith. In this they anticipated Obama's second, and current faith by hundreds of years. So, his preaching of tolerance, and reason, mixed with sneering, self serving hatred, leaves me a bit cold. 90% good message, 9% filler, 1% bile. Contents may settle during transport. | ||

Court, I think you are being a bit harsh in your criticism of BO. BO wasn't lying, he really was present when he voted in Congress. I agree with others that it's an old election speech. We know he gives good teleprompter. We've also seen his actions (at least those who have paid any attention). Actions speak much louder than words for me. It is wrong to deny the philosophy this nation was founded on (1st 15 seconds of the 4th video). That was all I needed to see. | ||

No body knows what obama is everything is sealed. Sounds like some one has a lot to hide. Can any of you get your records sealed? if so how? The Dan Rathers etc tried to remake letters on GWBs military service. How did we allow some one with no vitae to be president? I work as a contractor on government projects I couldnt get him on site as janitor! with so little background available. If he was proud of his academic record why is he hiding it ? The longer its hidden the worse the outcome. | ||

Want to know where this thing is headed ? NEP Lenin, 1921-1925; and the subsequent fun Stalin got to have from say 27 onward. Maybe if they quit using Marx, Hegel, Engels, Mao, Gueverra as role models..... They are knocking out the chapters like mile markers, they have already done the first round of 'nationalization' and kollectivization - they just called it Stimulus...
