Many of you may know U4euh from C3. What some of you may not know is that Jim had a kidney transplant about 8 years ago. About 2 years ago his body started to reject the transplanted kidney and it was removed from his body today. He is currently back on the transplant list and waiting for a match. Please keep Jim and Tonya in your prayers as they need all the love, support and prayers we can give them right now. I will keep you posted as I get updates from Tonya. On a personal note, please consider being an organ donor if you're not already. Make your wishes known to your family. You never know whose life will depend on organ donation. I'll make sure Tonya gets all messages until Jim gets home to read them for himself. Kristi |

dont know him, but I feel for his situation I am an organ donor, always have been since I got my license at 16. Have two family members who were born blind, but fortunately there were people who were donors and now they live very normal lives. If I cant use them, let someone else live on and live a more regular life because of them. |

Kristi: Thank you for making us aware of this. I'm not sure the families of some of the folks here truly appreciate what a close knit community this is and how deeply folks genuinely care about one another. Please keep us updated, let us know if there is anything we can be doing and we'll have Jim and his family on our thoughts and prayers. Court |

They let me be an organ donor but won't let me give blood. Something to do with the mad cows where I lived for a few years. I'll pray for them. |

Kristi Our family will be praying for Jim and family. Thanks for sharing. I've been an organ donor for as long as I can remember but Ourdee's post made me realize, I have not donated blood in years .. and no reason other than I haven't done it. To be corrected soon. |

Was just perusing Jeremiah, and found some words of strength: Chapter 1, verses 17-19 17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them. 18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. 19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee. God's got your back. Many prayers coming your way. |

Wishing the best for you Jim, and your family. You truly are a hell of a good guy. One of my best friends went through this a few years back. He was testing the medical system and went right ahead and had a stroke while he was waiting for a kidney. He recovered amazingly well and is still doing well today. I wish I could play golf with him, but my knees won't let me. I must say I have not been up to speed on these things, but can we adapt a Buell to support a dialysis machine? We need this man in the campgrounds supporting a Badweather Bikers campfire and the good times that it brings. |

I talked to Jim for just a few minutes tonight. He, as always, put up a good face. I'll check in with Tonya tomorrow and see what the rest of the week holds for them. Thanks to everyone for the prayers, thoughts and kind words. For all of you who are already organ donors and/or donate blood, thank you is not enough, but it's all I have to offer. Good night, Kristi |

If I cant use them, let someone else live on and live a more regular life because of them. Amen...my feelings exactly! I've told my parents and husband that I can clearly state today that I'm an organ donor and feel the same for my children. God forbid that I ever have to make a call for my children while they're young, but if I'm ever faced with that decision someone else knows when I'm clear headed what my wishes are. I'll check in with Tonya here in a little while and post an update. Thanks for all the prayers. Kristi |
