Buell S1: All-American Streetfighter"        This is an excellent five-page road test of the production version of the new 1996 Buell S1 Lightning, written by the Cycle World staff with photography by Rich Chenet. The magazine is in overall excellent condition, with just the slightest of scuff wear on the cover. You need this in your collection. #4 October 2002 Motorcyclist: "Sneak Peek: 2003 Buell XB9S Naked 'Fighter"   This is a one-plus-page look at the new 2003 Buell XB9S Lightning, written by Josh Norem with photography by (I assume) Buell/Harley-Davidson. There is another small color photo on the contents page of a black XB9S, which I forgot to photograph for this auction. The mag is in excellent condition, with a slight thumb print "smudge" on the right side of the cover visible above the front tire. You need this magazine in your collection. #5 October 2002 Cycle World: "2003 Buell Lightning American Street Fighter! Can Erik Buell build one for you?"    This is an excellent four-page article on the new 2002 Buell XB9S Lightning, written by Steve Anderson with photography by (I assume) Buell/Harley-Davidson. The mag is in excellent condition, with the slightest of dog-ears on the lower right corner of the cover and through page 36. The spine of the cover is also split (separated) at the bottom up to just below the lower staple, a distance of about an inch. You need this magazine in your collection. Hi everyone!!!..thank you Mike for your generous donation for the poster....and Michael(RKc00),daniel, jay, tom and dan ...for your donations/bids on the magazines....I know a simple thank you ...is not enough...to everyone who has donated so far.. I will walk my @#$%...off, I promise!! I have been working on cross training the past month or so...with one or 2(5k)runs a week...one hike a week and just started a cross training/cardio class at the YMCA....so the good thing is I am getting stronger. I so far have gone from 160lbs...to 148...have about 18 more lbs to go. So by the time the walk comes up I should kick it's butt!!  | ||

This is the kinda thread that always makes Badweb THE place to be for Buell Enthusiasts. . . mayhaps the most caring, philanthropic and supportive folks in the motoring community. The bike is so much fun but pales in contrast the the collective hearts of the folks in the Buell Community. Okay . . here's where we are. We've far exceeded expectations. When I saw this thread somewhat dormant after a couple days I tried to kick start it to see Lynn reach her goal. That goal is now little but a fading image in the rear view mirror of big hearts at this point! Nothing short of amazing. We've also far exceeded the number where I can give TWO 1190RS posters to everyone. So here is what I intend to do. I will make certain that EVERYONE gets an autographed ERIK BUELL RACING 1190RS poster and I'll still make certain everyone gets 4 posters. I've set about trying to locate more of the 1190RS posters. I'll keep track of who gets which of the two posters and, if and when I can wrangle more, I'll go about making good on the original commitment to get everyone both posters. I could not be more thrilled about having this problem. My goal is to start shipping by the end of the week. And . . . since we are on a roll . . let me toss one more in the wrench to sweeten the pot. IF . . . you buy one of Mr. Haughton's magazines and IF you want . . I will arrange to get the magazine autographed for those who are interested. What the heck . . . as long as we're having fun . . why not a genuine Buellgasm?? Most of all . . THANK YOU.
