Mens soccer team got a great result tonight against Argentina!!!!!!!!
The Argentines left there heavies in the whole game in fact they made 1 substitution. It was a cheaky game the ref let em play and the US was dominated in the first half but those cardiac kids never say dye attitude almost gave us the match. But a level match was all they could muster. Still a fantastic result there were 78,000 + on hand at Giants stadium.

I saw the second half. The US counterattacked and then regrouped trying to stop the world's #1 player, Lionel Messi.

The USA did well to draw but did reveal why they are ranked way below the Argentines': Lack of poise and the inability to hold possession for any duration. The US passing skills need to improve.

That, and coach Skeletor needs to eat more. : )

I agree but the US was fielding a good portion of basically rookies as well. I will say Messi is almost Zidane like only faster holy cow that guy has one more gear than everyone else. I wouldn't rank the US that far below the Argentines. They were outplayed yes but there set piece play was far better than the Argentines IMO. The kids did look like a deer in the headlights but hey if we want to be the best we will have to play the best. I believe by playing great teams is the only way to improve the squad.

Watch out for the USA in the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand later this year. They have the capacity to surprise a lot of people.
