79 days I'm still up in the air about the week-end, but know what I'm doing prior to Friday. We all meet at Erik Buell Racing Thursday morning at 10:00. | ||

What are the chances of finding decent camping for the weekend at this point (any recommended or NON-recommended campgrounds)? Probably won't make it for the Erik Buell Racing tour, but thinking of riding up for the race. | ||

For what its worth, this is my plan, at the moment. I plan on riding down to East Troy Thursday morning. After thats over then I will be riding to Road America. My current plan is to camp at the track Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. They will have shower trailers and buildings with toilets and showers. You will need to buy a super ticket for the weekend, a campers permit, and a spot to camp. I believe they allow 6 people per campsite. You can split the cost of the campsite with the people you share it with. So camping with friends is a benefit. | ||

77 days. I was thinking some of us could eat at Rama's Thursday evening? I don't camp as well as I used to, need electric blanket, heater, fan, and an air mattress. I also know that a whole day roaming the track wears me out. So, personally, I may have to pick just one day for the track. I ask everyone what day would you pick if you could only have one of them. I could commute from Country View for a one day visit. A solution would be to get into the EBr pits as their security/night watchman  and sleep with the raceing machines. Hey Erik, Can I plug in to that outlet in the corner? | ||

Great plan . . .but I'd plan on perhaps hanging about East Troy, perhaps even spending the night there . . on Thursday night. Other than that . . . I think you have it nailed. This is going to be an incredible year. | ||

76 days. Alright Milt. I may only be at the track for one day, and in East Troy for the rest of it. I'll be looking at a 300 yard rifle range for use this summer. Going to Gus' Drive-in Sat night for the car show if it is going on. Rama's one evening. EBr 10:00 Thursday Morning. Staying at http://countryviewcamp.com/index.html . Been there the past two HCs. Biker friendly with a pool, clean showers, little store, fire pits, electric for my tent, and water faucet. If you want a hard roof and walls, My indoor brethren will probably be booking rooms at Alpine. Court, Did you cause the duct tape? Duct tape does come in colors other than "Classic Silver". | ||

It's clear that Court is the master of the universal adhesive and sealant. Yes, OurDee, it does come in other colors, but Classic Silver goes with everything. Case in point: It's perfectly coordinated with Court's hair ! | ||

Actually Gus's is starting to get a bike ight going on Thursday nights. Its been slow moving.... 25 or so bikes starting late last Summer but steadily picking up. Its getting headed up by a friend I met last year and basically crew chief for Jordans race team for Ben Bostrom. I doubt he'll be there that thursday very much on account qualifying for the races but I know people are showing. | ||

The superbike weekend has been a double header event for some time now, meaning there is a superbike race (main event) on Saturday and one on Sunday. Either day would be a good day. Saturday might give you more time to enjoy the races and the crowd, as people clear out rather quickly on Sunday. | ||

I live in the area and will be available to show you the best roads in the area,and some good bike-friendly(not Harley!) small town restaurants.I also have a bike hoist in my house's workshop and and the tools you may meed for emergency repairs! I was helping promote Gus' Thursday bike nite,what it lacked in quantity of bikes,it more then made-up for it in the quality of the owners and their bikes! | ||

RD, How many RVs do I have to hurt my eyes with looking at them ? IF I camp, I want to see fireflies, trees and hear the wind... not the glow of TV lights and the eyesore RV setup... after camping with them for ten weeks, I think they need to be outlawed, along with the mini van. Sorry, unless it rains cats and dogs again, I don't want it... but I will stop by if I make it ! | ||
