Why? They will likely sell it to us for hefty profits.....unless they have found some big reserves that are too risky for us to be responsible for. | ||

Does Not Surprise Me One Tiny Little Bit. Not to Worry, the "right" people here in the U.S. will still be getting a cut out of it. He(Our prez), believes America has been an evil imperialist, and that we owe the world. That we should pay the world back for what we have taken. It is a philosophy he got from his father, and is hell bent on achieving. The Man is an enemy of the United States Of America. Pure and simple. He seeks to destroy this country in a very real way. He wants to drag this country into a "level" playing field with everybody that has less than us. The farther we fall, the easier it is to impliment a Single World Government. As part of that he and others will continue to chip and hammer away at our rights, ability to travel, work, eat, etc. Until we are beholden and under the thumb of the government. People laugh at the thought of a New World Order. A Global Government. Say, "It's what crazy conspiracy theorist talk about." Yup - Just what certain people are counting most blow it off to. | ||

No, I do not approve of this. What I was suggesting is that perhaps the US or GB found oil in places too risky to drill and wanted to duck the risk and responsibility to a willing third party. Kind of like buying an insurance policy for a big spill by working through a sub contractor. A large accident/spill could end in a big group finger pointing so that no one would actually have to pay. | ||

U.S.oil company's are the only ones banned from drilling in the Gulf,I heard recently the B.O.approved a Brazilian oil company's request for an underwater oil storage tank in the Gulf.....can't imagine any thing going wrong there!!! | ||

It sure hacks me that he gave them 2 billion $$$$$$ to develop the fields so we can buy our on oil,but it is a debt that he owes to Soros for paying for his run for the white house. Soros holds the rights to all thier oil. When they have a desaster will be interesting to see who cleans up the mess in our back door. (make no mistake they will sooner or later) | ||

I don't like it one bit. At least half the U.S. wants to drill to be more self-sufficient!!! I want to know why this is happening. Where can we get an explanation?? (we deserve one) This is very important especially if the U.S. are the only ones not allowed to drill. Wait...what...is this some of that "Spreading the wealth" crap?? Equalizing... not just U.S. Citizens......but ALL other countries?? Like...Star trek next generation where everyone is equal...WTF?? (and.. no, i do not smoke weed) I guess they could be drilling off their shores which is fine by me, unless they are suking out from the same oil reservoirs as we are. But I don't want to lend them money. | ||

Ok I missed the news the last few days. Any good links handy? So if I understand this thread right you guys are saying Pres is letting Brasil drill in the gulf (wich one) but he won't let our people drill there?? or (hopefully) I just read this whol;e thread wrong, could be I'm so tired.. |
