I keep hoping for pictures, but I have this little voice in the back of my mind telling me I'll be sorry. Fortunately that little voice usually gets drowned out by all the other voices. |

Getting the facebook app is probably the best way to post directly from iphones, get them there and post here and make sure one of us has friended you and we can link to them or bounce them over to here. It's flaky also, as is emailing photos on the iphone. It generally works, but sometimes just flat out refuses. We need to look into a "mobile upload" feature for badweb.... |

Lookie what I found! Looking kind of rode out, but very happy Two BadWebbers all at the same time. I was excited. They have had a very nice ride!
Excepting the immediate family, my pore 'ol Cyclone so rarely gets to visit with other Buells.

Isn't it ironic what the sign behind Ft_bstrd says? Especially considering he probably just ran in and ate a quick and ready burrito from the heat lamp grease pit! Probably more like "got the runs, while on the run"! I took a look at running down there over the weekend, but did a Father Son project instead. We finished up a six inch lift project on his ole Chebby 4x4 so that his 38" tires would fit. Glad you had a good time. |

Here come the pix. All pix were taken with a iphone 4. I have some GPS data from the images. If there is anything you want coordinates for just let me know. We start with Thursday evening. We leave from work to head east. Unlse Pete's our gateway to the great roads of the East TN.
The fat man showed up.
I had a loose battery cable. Not cool when you are scoot'n down the road at nite and the lights go out and you coast. :/

Parsons branch waterfall on the dragon.

2 x Tricked 1198S. The black one was one of the worst riders I had ever seen.

Friday part 2. We left our awesome lunch in Asheville for the highest spot east of the Mississippi. Fat man thought his primary was not adjusted perfectly. This was not our last primary wrenching.
Taking pix of the blues.
Mile High Motorbikes.
There is still snow in the hills.
The air was a little to thin for two fats guy to hike to the summit. The carbed Em Deuce was starting to have labored breathing too.
It did not look like NC to me.
Proof.
Roll'n Froggy style. GPS, iPhone, fatty's blueberry and the saddlebags were hauling a Mr Coffee and a Fax machine.
Another great meal. I had the Carne Asada. The tuber rider had what I would describe as fat-back tacos. This joint had a self serve hot salsa bar. I preferred the peanut hot sauce.
Then PBRs and another night of Marriott Camping. (Message edited by barker on March 21, 2011) |

Little Switzerland itself isn't much, but 226 and 226A going south off of the BRP down to Marion are awesome roads right up there with the Dragon and Wolfpen Gap. Sorry if you missed them. |

Awesome pics. Hope I make out that way again this summer. Little Switzerland is great, but can be terrifying coming around some of the blind righthanders. I keep expecting to come upon someone pulling out of a driveway. It adds to the intensity though! |

Did you and the Uly "educate" him? Holy crap! We both were dumbfounded. We kept thinking that maybe he was adjusting the suspension or setting a fuel map or something you could do on a fancy $20,000 motorcycle. Nope, he just sucked that bad. He was the worst of the point and squirt riders and nearly spit himself off going in a straight line. Barker blew past him and got him all jittery. Then I had the displeasure of trying to pass him without running him off the road. Brand new bike. $5,000 of after market bolt on parts. Brand new spotless white jacket. New race replica helmet. Couldn't ride his way out of a wet paper bag. http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/photocard.aspx?pc= C39A20D2469E874A8ACA95BD4EFA88CD http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/photocard.aspx?pc= C39A20D2469E874A1F8920CEA3FA787B Hey, you don't have a headlight out: http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/photocard.aspx?pc= C39A20D2469E874A9D4F58DCA093FA75 Who's that handsome devil? http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/photocard.aspx?pc= C39A20D2469E874A3D0297EEB452D1D0 |
