Has anyone ridden one? Comments, opinions? I'm looking at a leftover 2010 SF S, 18.4k, with 1k store credit. And a standard SF. Don't really think I need the forged wheels, all the CF bits, and the Ohlins that come on the S. Thoughts? |

I still have it Rich. And I love it, BUT, I'm coming into a little bit of money, and the SF has been my dream bike for awhile. I of course would have to sell a Duke with only 2k on the clock, which seems ridiculous to me. I'm just pondering the decision. That SF has its hooks in me... |

Very cool bike, never ridden one. However, for some reason or other, they have decided to slow down the handling of the bike, by lengthening the wheelbase, and reducing the steering angle, something I strongly disagree with, as a stock Ducati isn't the fastest turning bike in the world. I have increased the steering angle on my 999S. Reviews on this bike have said the handling isn't too wonderful. You could have a much better handling Ducati for half the price by just buying a used triple nine S, taking off the fairings and tidying it up.

If I went Duc it would be the Hyper Moto.... but the Aprilia I think is sexier |

Saw a nice purdy red one at VIR this year.
Due to all the whining about gas fumes on the 1125 board I found this interesting:
My 1125CR has never spewed that much gas. Or is that part of the 'Ducati experience'? 1313 |

I rode one last year at a demo day. Plenty of power but I wasn't very comfortable with the riding position. It feels like a 1098 with handlebars which is basically what it is but, it felt like I was looking at the front wheel all the time. It's hard to explain and it's really just my idea of how it sits. I would recommend that you ride it and make your own decision. When you ride it, pay attention to how the muffler heat shield feels against your right heel. |

I have a friend that has one and follows me up on some of the logging roads, has a set of the Mt 6os for the muddy months. It does just fine, has more ground clearance too..... definately not a single track bike, but for all the reasons I love the CityX; that Duc is exceptional as well. |

I'm not a fan of how the Diavel looks. It looks like someone got confused when designing the bike and could not decide if they wanted a cruiser or a standard. Anyway, if I was in the market for a naked hooligan bike, I would take a really long look at the new Triumph. It is getting rave reviews. Cycle world was calling it the best Triumph ever and said it ranks right up there with the Streetfighter and the MV Agusta Brutale in terms of performance and handling. |

Thanks for the input guys! I'm going to stick with the 990. I'll hold out until Erik Buell Racing puts out a naked street bike. And I bet it'll whoop the SF in style and numbers. |
