For some strange & unusual reason this has been going through my head all morning.
This song has it all, sung by Barry McGuire, composed by Burt Bacharach. The lyrics, though politically incorrect & misogynistic in content are essentially about hope & optimism in the face of overwhelming odds & inevitable defeat.
I invite you all to listen carefully & profit from the experience.
