I don't know if this has been brought up but I would recomend you go somewhere that they rent pistols if you can. What I like may not be what you like. I had a Glock that was one of the smoothest pistols I've owned. But It was a tad big for my clown hands (normal palms stubby fingers) so I could never get the lead where I wanted it. I sold it to a buddy and he loves it and it shoots true. The point make sure it fits you and you feel comforatable with it. Oh last thing, don't be cheap! If it's for defense don't be cheap.. |

As far as cheap guns go, I really like a $200 CZ-82. 9mm makrov (9x18, not 9x19). A little more work to find ammo, but still cheap and easy to get. |

Thanks for the ammo tip Rah...I'll keep that in mind. 2008...I did just that. Luckily I have enough friends that have pistols to where I didn't have to rent any. I was able to use a hand full styles. That helped me make my decesion on the S&W .40. I can see myself making this a hobby. |

I would have to say that for carry and conceal the option I went with is the LCP380. You can put this little baby anywhere and mine has been reliable so far except for the first 10 or so rounds. I am looking into getting the crimson trace laser sites to aid in the point and click situation for in the house at night. |
