Report for duty on Thursday morning at 0900 to help get set up for a 1000 start. The weather is looking pretty good, better than usual this year. As you know, AMA Race weekend at Road America typically means "rain". I have initiated a RFDW so I think we'll be okay. I'm getting kind of excited. | ||

Refreshing dates since this dropped to a new page.. June 2 through the 5th, right? With the 3rd being a Friday? I have to figure out what to do. I'd like to bring Jack and he would like to go, but that's too far for him to grind out on the back of a bike. I'll probably trailer.... I have wanted to cross the Chicago Skyway late at night on a motorcycle someday (for reasons complicated to explain), but that will just have to wait for another day. Hmmm.... | ||

You can ALWAYS come to NYC (bring Jack if you want) and we'll do the "Midnight Times Square and Brooklyn Cheesecake and Coffee" exercise I used to do on each full moon. I'm also wondering . . if there isn't an obvious "win-win" solution. Load the bike in the trailer, kit up, program the GPS to East Troy, give Jack the keys and hop on the bike. You really need to see the positive in these things . . look, I handled the weather and you can't get from Ohio to Wisconsin? This is distressing. | ||

Hey Reep, you can always trailer to my place, unload then ride the rest of the way. Chicago skyline and the lakeshore at night is something to be seen from the seat of a Buell. I've done it a few times. You'll never regret it. | ||

Reep, come up the evening of the 2nd. Unload and overnight at our place and take off Friday morning early for East Troy. Leave late afternoon on Saturday and do the skyline. Load up and overnight at our place. Drive home Sunday. Hell I might even go on the Victory if nobody would be offended.  Or you and Jack could ride the Victory and I'll ride the Buell? It's a Cross Country so it ought to be plenty comfortable. | ||

+1 on the NY thing as well, but that will probably be Shelly before it is Jack... I vote for Jim over the stones, but whatever you do, please keep Elton John away. (Not because he is gay, that's his business... keep him away because he is annoying. ). Cue Alex in 3, 2, 1... | ||
