Just how cool is THIS? He'll be old enough to drink and celebrate in a year . . . |

Yeah im a Tony Stewart fan, but was rooting for both Trevor Bayne and the Wood Brothers. First win for them in 10 years. |

I was kinda pulling for Dale JR. That would have been cool for him on the 10 Anniversary of his dads death. Not to take anything away from Trevors accomplishment though. However this was the first nascar race I have watched in years. Im out of the loop on driver facts and teams. Maybe with the extra money they win from the 500, the Wood Brothers will get this kid a few more races this year since he is only part-time! |

Pretty cool to see the Wood Brothers win with a 20-year old at the wheel. Awesome! (I really needed something to make me smile today- see my thread in BB&D.) |

Really happy for the Wood Bros., first Daytona win since '76. Back then, it was David Pearson with the Wood Bros, Richard Petty then everyone else. Great to see them back. Remind you of another climb back to the top we're all watching and rooting for? |

He was a hot shoe in the K&N series before this, excellent start in cup. Cool to see a smaller team get the win. Not sure how much I like the two car draft deal. |

It was definitely cool to see Bayne win. At that level, this kind of story just doesn't happen anymore. |

Very cool Cinderella story. Big buzz about it in the local news around Knoxville lately.....as it should be. It was a different kind of race with an awesome ending. |

I was really happy to see the wood brothers car in the winners circle this weekend but I must admit as a kid watching nascar I used to hate all fords and yet now days I like all of the domestic brands and hate seeing the toyotas win. |

Conspiracy theory, not to piss on anybody's parade. Do you suppose that with NASCAR on a decline..(like h-d)..they orchestrated a young heart throb to win this race to attract a new and younger crowd? Yeah,I know I'm full of crap......just say'n........ |

Cool story for the "kid". However I was a bit bummed... our guy was right at the front before the wreck at the end. Clint Bowyer in the #33 is our guy. Go Cheerios! Yeah, I'm a bit biased.. I work for General Mills.. I've meet Clint a couple of times. Real nice guy. So was Richard Petty, he was the team owner of our previous car.. Got a chance to BS with him for about 20 minutes one day with no one else around. Vroom Vroom!!! Go Cheerios! |

>>>Go Cheerios! Gads . . . I'm paying for your heart healthy retirement! It's still a classic race although I'm still queasy on the drafting thing. |

"Do you suppose that with NASCAR on a decline..(like h-d)..they orchestrated a young heart throb to win this race to attract a new and younger crowd?" If that were the case, they would of set up Dale Jr. to win... I know you were just messin' around, but I know what your saying...I am a big conspiracy theorist as well! |
