The roads here in NE Ohio got torn up pretty bad so far this winter from the extended sub freezing temps and snow plows tearing them up. It's gonna be ugly for a while. | ||

It is starting to warm up some...last week it made it into the mid 70's...Friday we had a cold front which brought it down some. Saturday, I found a good deal on a set of Gerbing micro-wire gloves...snagged 'em....Rode yesterday...it was 38 at 8am...but with snuggly warm hands and matching jacket with some good first gear insulated pants, it was FINE!!!..we rode about 300 miles...and I was ready for more (but my belly reminded me that I had some well aged steaks at home)...good tune up ride...there were plenty of pirates on the road. Bike week is coming soon... If I spot an orange tree beginning to bloom, I know spring is coming...mother nature isn't often wrong. | ||

Had to take the Shovel to my wrench today- on the way back, I actually heard a bunch of spring peepers getting their peep on!! THAT's one of the first signs for me! | ||

 Looks like spring from here. I took a stroll out the the pits, removed Big Red's skirts, and got her ready for an oil change, and this and that in the morning. The ice has melted in the driveway, and the temperature got up to 50º. If spring isn't here just now, it certainly seems to be on its way, doesn't it?  | ||
