A trip to Daytona would meet the requirements for a geographic solution. Fill your time with new stuff to distract you from the old stuff. Remember that crisis makes us feel the sensations of emotions and emotions pass. |

I spent 5 years in Micronesia at Kwajalein. It is a whole different world and a good adventure. If you stay over a year it is also income tax free. Down side is no personal vehicles as the island is so small you do not need one. I wish you well. |

Your profile says you're a mechanic. If you don't mind working with rusty metal. Isuzu and Honda are in the midst of a recall that involves patching the rear trailing arm brackets. Check with Honda or Isuzu dealer; might find a just find a job. |

I'm doing the Daytona thing, for precisely the same reason. If you're in Maryland on Weds morning (whatsit, the 9th?), we can slab I-95 together. I'm pulling it in one shot, be there Weds night. |

Crusty, Sorry to hear this. Keep the faith and don't let this speed bump get in the way of the rest of your life. The others before me have given you some good advice. You have a lot of friends here that will help you in any way they can. Next time you can make it to NYC and the Dino your lunch is on me. See you and Ratbuell in Daytona for the races. Court and I just made our flights. Will be there late thursday night until sunday. Mike |

Hmmmmmmm. All this Daytona race talk has me and Jerry thinking. And thinking hard! Temps are getting warmer and with my heated gear, heading south the 8th or 9th of March sounds like a great R and R after a long, cold winter! Crusty....it would be so great seeing you. And we owe you a ticket or two. |

Hey Crusty, sorry to hear this hasn't been one of you best weeks. However, I am slabbing it down I-95 to Daytona (leaving on Tuesday the 8th I think)While I usually ride alone you are more than welcome to roll with me. By the time we head for home after the races I'll have you sending your insignificant other a thank you card. |

Very sorry to hear your news Crusty. Hang on brother, and let your friends here know what we can do for you. How are you with electro-mechanical or body shop work? If you wanna move to the western mountains, I can help line up several jobs out here. |

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. As Alexander Graham Bell said, “When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us. Now might be a good time to consider leaving the Bay State for a location in the South or Southwest that has better weather, and genuine economic growth.

John, Add me to the list of those with the jaw on the floor. I've hung out with you and Terri and have tremendous respect for both of you. What ever happens in the future I truly hope that both of you find what your soul and inner muse needs. I really can't say much else right now.. I'm still trying to get back in my chair.. Very sincerely Brad |

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I had my fair share of bad luck last year, and I'll be years recovering. My advice to you is to "bloom where you're planted". It's the challenges in life that make it work living. Everything will work out for the best. Just keep your head up, keep moving forward, and NEVER give up. The bad times in life are what allow us to enjoy the good. |
