.... now that's a church i'd go to! Instead of a collection plate we could pass around an airbox cover the preacher could be decked out in a firesuit too
I'll keep commenting EVEN THOUGH the image in the OP isn't showing any longer...
I'd always wondered about how silly god must think us all when we even see athletic teams praying for victory. I'm NOT making that up. OK now - tell me why god should favor an athletic team? That means that the losers are not favored by god simply because the "other side" won?
Does god ONLY favor the Packers this year - because NONE of the others even made Stupor Bowl?
Heavy... duuude... this is getting existential. Gotta get another cup of coffee.
If you believe in a multiverse (and the folks who study quantum mechanics do) everything that can happen, does happen. You're free to choose, but you've chosen everything and in doing so, created yet another universe. If God is omnipotent, He can see all off these universes, and knows everything that is going to happen because everything will happen.
What are you guys talking about anyway??? I posted a video of a a guy talking about riding sportbikes on the track.... It's still there and working for me.
>>> Yet another condition to the 'unconditional' love of the lord...
1. Parent loves child.
2. Child matures and is granted free will to do as he/she pleases.
3. Child chooses drug abuse and risky sexual behavior.
4. Child suffers consequences, suffers, and dies.
5. Parent doesn't love child?
Bad logic is just bad.
The consequences for our free will and our choices are just that and of our own doing. Would you rather be a robot or a puppet of God? Know any parents like that? How do their grown children feel about them?
>>> I'd always wondered about how silly god must think us all when we even see athletic teams praying for victory.
I've been on a lot of athletic teams. We never prayed for victory. We prayed for strength, that we'd do our best, for the safety of all, and that we might behave according to God's will that he might be glorified in the sight of all.
Ahhh the Kirk Cameron of the Badweb rears his head!
Yet more non sequitur and generalized terms and ideas to defend your position.
I am sure god would be pretty angry that you compared him to a parent that doesn't know whether or not their child would touch the stove when it is obvious god would...
