Does anyone know a website that sells bicycle parts. My wife and I picked up a simple road bike for her to ride to and from work and the front caliper is in need a replacing.

Next best.
Between the two, you should be able to find anything you need and some bargains too.

Universalcycles.com has virtually everything on the planet. If it's an older, nicer bike, then velo-orange.com is good for more vintage things that can be hard to find otherwise, but not necessarily cheapest. With brake calipers you have to be careful of reach. An older bike might have 27" wheels while new stuff would likely be 700c which is 4mm smaller IIRC. Easy to check, just have to be aware. Google Sheldon Brown for a link to a good site on bike repair and information on all of the continuously changing (thanks Shimano ) standards.

Try the LBS (local bike shop), they need your business.

Skin, she has just a standard plain used road bike. Aiming to see if she gets into riding it regularly to work and if she does we will upgrade it from there to a new one later this year.

Standard, as in old-style, Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub, center or side pull brakes?

If you have a college nearby, there's usually a bicycle co-op, where they have tons of used parts cheap.

I've bought from Universalcycles.com, Jensonusa.com, and Pricepoint.com. You can't loose with any of them.
