Could you put a clear wrap on chip-prone areas to protect the paint? That might be useful. Is that what you are talking about by a "clear bra"? |

Blake, that's exactly it. It's a clear vinyl that covers the front bumper, the front of the hood and the front of the front fenders - basically anywhere a traditional car bra would cover. |

my girlfriend has a bra but I can't keep it on her. The wind keeps blowing it off. (she's a fast girl!) |

In addition . . . it's not unusual to cover areas exposed to impact . . such as the leading edge of the rear wheel openings. Quite common . . and like so many things . . there is a HUGE difference in the quality of both the product and the installation. Saving money costs a fortune. If done properly it takes a keen eye to detect. You will need, before you wax, to read up on how to use blue painters tape to prevent getting wax in the edge. Quite cool . . . |

Nice, so no buffeting or rubbing issues to worry about. I may suggest it to Michele. She is way too proud of her car. |

Choose your words wisely and with meter as you suggest a "clear bra to prevent visible nicks to your body". If it goes wrong . . .the guest room's empty. |
