I heard this morning that brilliant Irish blues guitarist Gary Moore was found dead in his hotel room in Spain yesterday : (

Ironically I watched a Thin Lizzy Tribute concert on TV over the weekend with Gary Moore, Scott Gorham etc from Dublin.

Man that really sucks.
Gary Moore was one of my favorites..
That boy could really play..

Slicker, I'm with you... great times and bad times to that tune..

RIP Gary, thanks for all the great tunes.

He was, to use an overused description, awesome. His phrasing and tones set the bar very high for us mortals. Thanks, Gary, R.I.P.

I never realized until I listened to that track who he was...I had seen him play with Clapton before. What a talent...his very soul came out in the music... We have lost a great one.

Amazing artist. His skill and artistry with the guitar speak powerfully to those who listen.

Ever wonder why we humans find some combinations of sounds so incredibly pleasing, beautiful? I may be feeling glum, but good music almost always snaps me right out of it, and it doesn't really matter what type so long as it's good.

There's something about beautiful music that can reach into and touch our souls, provide inspiration, cheer, and help to reveal the incredible beauty of the world around us. Thank you God. Please look after Gary. He was extra special.
