Fres- You're probably right. A-Rodge is just too good and he carried the offense all season. X's and O's, he is the most important player on the field. But if you listen to that defense, and their post game interviews, they won that game BECAUSE Woodson was hurt, because he inspired that team to give it everything they had. Woodson is the leader of that team, more than A-Rodge. He leads the breakdowns, gives the speeches, and tries to play with a broken collar bone. He is just a football player, flat out. You give me 22 Charles Woodsons and Ill make the playoffs. Yeah, A-Rodge is just filthy good, but everyone can see that. I just hope people realize the sort of legend we have on the field in 21, and appreciate watching him while we can. |

Yep, I agree the physical void left by Charles Woodson was more than made up by the inspired play of his teammates. A lesser team (and the Packers of last year) would have crumbled after losing Woodson and Driver, among others thanks to Jerry' turf, but this team pulled together worthy of a Super Bowl title. It's such a treat to see a team grow up right in front of your eyes. What a credit to the Green Bay Packers organization, players & city. It's going to be a fun next few years assuming these people can figure out how to split the $9 billion. |

Funny quote by one of the bloggers about Alex Rodriguez bitching about being shown with Cam Diaz: Along the lines: "A-Rod lighting up the Jumbotron while the other A-Rod is lighting up the football field." |

Along the lines: "A-Rod lighting up the Jumbotron while the other A-Rod is lighting up the football field." Precisely why we will NEVER refer to #12 as the same name as that douche canoe ever again. A-Rodge is too close for my tastes, I'm going with AR. Or Champ!!! |

I never really thought about it like that and I tend to agree with you...but at the same time it would be pretty cool for the Packer A-Rod to supersede the Yankee A-rod. Now that would really stick it to him good. |
