Here we have my wife's Corolla: The wife herself posing in the little snow cave I dug out for the hydrant. For scale, the fence behind just poking out is about 4' tall. I am glad I live somewhere warm (Alaska). Seriously, friend called me from Texas two days ago and it was 20 degrees warmer here. It will probably be a cold spring and a late thaw. Most years we can ride by April 1, sometimes a couple weeks later. Luckily its all melted quite a bit. I have a trail like this all the way around. She has taken me out twice running full speed! Now I just need to get rid of the 3" ice block that extends to the street. also, the street itself is dangerous to walk on. I packed in steps for climbing that by the way It pays to plan ahead. My shovel was 6" away from the telephone wires above. My wife was able to stand on the crust but was too chicken to climb mount Greyskull She claimed the mountain across the driveway.
