Whats he got? He's been close to broke too many times to trust. does he have even a clue on how to make things happen? Its easy to throw rocks, whats he got though that would solve any problems the government now faces? EZ |

I've done work at Trump Towers in Chicago. He's as crooked as they come. Doesn't pay bills. Okay's changes and change orders then doesn't pay the contractor for the changes he requested. Guys a piece of shit in my book. I couldn't care less what that a$shat has to say about anything. He's at the very top of the moron list. |

Rocket, do you really think Trump personally overseas change orders? Get a grip. |

Personally? no. But his name is on the bills, so he's responsible. And learn the difference between overseas and over see's if you're trying to make a point. Love when people here defend a person they don't know or most likely never worked for. Guys a dirt bag. My opinion and I'm not looking for validation from anyone here, that's for damn sure |

I'm amazed too . . . (not defending Trump). . . after 41 years in the construction business, how many contractors do change order work without the (usually) contractually required "must have written approval in advance provisions". I've got a fertile group of 16 young minds this semester and my class this Wednesday is starts our series on Construction Claims . . that question will inevitably come up. I suspect that Chicago is much like NYC as well . . . the contractor strings the poor vendor or sub along for months and months and then calls them in . . "we owe you $1,000,00 but if you'll take $600,000 I'll give it to you in cash right now". Guy I worked for when I first came to town was notorious . . . course . . he's now doing 5 years in the federal pen . . how'd you like to be 72 years old, worth $800M and have to see your grandkids through a glass window? My life's dull. |

By the way . . . unless I miss my guess . . . ALL those contractors that have (allegedly) been screwed over by Trump are lined up begging to do more work for him. |

I do a lot of sales based on someones word. In 14 years, I think I've only been screwed twice. BUT... I still do business with the company's that I feel screwed me and the place I work. Now... I have everything on paper when it comes to them... and believe me, I don't pass a dime of savings onto them. I've more than made up for what they stuck us with and then some... and I take every chance to stick them when I can with a smile on my face and they are none the wiser. Treat me right... pay your bills.. I'll move the world to get your material to you on time and under my original bid |

Treat me right... pay your bills.. I'll move the world to get your material to you on time and under my original bid Thats the way I've found most folks who work "in the trades" operate. From experience with my family's well pump business, work goes on based on a man's word and handshake...... until the first time you're screwed. Then its in writing and I'm squeezing every last dime outta you that I can every chance I get. And heaven help you if your well pump goes out on a weekend or holiday and you cant wait until Monday. |

I think I'm siding with Rocco on this one. There's lots of guys out there who make their money by screwing the other guy. Trump tried to get involved with a development in my town and I could see the subtle landmines that were being laid. Even if the whole project tanked, he'd come out smelling like a rose. One of the reasons I've been in business so long is that I don't do work for lawyers. Don't do any government work either but that's another story (Davis/Bacon is a huge theft of public monies). |

I stay as far away from Church jobs as I can. To many cooks in the kitchen.... Plus I never have a had a person flat out lie to me as much as a contractor that claimed to be a man of God. He just couldn't understand why I quit doing bids for him.... |

Look at some of the jewels we've elected and almost elected: gore- giant climate change con artist and believe it or not heterosexual. Edwards- giant deushe bag and also believe it or not heterosexual. Kerry- turd sandwich of the highest order insinuating military people are stupid and hiding his lavish yacht in rhode island to avoid taxes. Clinton- legend in his own mind. At least trump hasn't defacated all over the constitution. |
