$67/month for the two cats, and about $700/month for the wife and I includes groceries, almost daily lunch for me, and eating out. I have expensive tastes, and working in NYC offers so many tempting options. We don't usually do the coupon thing, but we have found a lot of store brand stuff that equals the name brand in quality, and costs less even if you have name brand coupons. We don't eat out much, and have found preparing home cooked meals the best way to save a lot of money. |

Our dogs(3) and cats(4) get Blue Buffalo pet food and whatever they can mooch off of customers and visitors. It's expensive but one of the best pet foods going. Reduced shedding, improved smell and fewer trips to the vet. Wes and I eat what ever we come in contact with during the week. 80 hour work weeks leave little time at home, much less for cooking. |

Living in Florida has it's advantages...go for a nice spirited ride without a visor near dusk....you can catch enough bugs for dinner Saves me hundreds a year... |

Less than $100 weekly average. 2 adults + we like to have folks over for dinner sometimes + we bring prepared food to weekly church/community functions. Nashville, TN I save alot shopping @ Aldi/Trader Joe's. I stay away from Publix/Whole Foods. I call Whole Foods "Whole pay check." (Message edited by barker on February 02, 2011) |

Pammy- My dog and cat where switched to Blue Buffalo 4 months ago and they are both so much healthier. We love it as much as they do. It is pricey but its worth it. Our black lab wouldn't touch his food for hours after we fed him before with Purina Dog Chow or Beniful. Now it is gone within 10min of hitting the bowl. Great stuff. |
