Well, I was looking for a new riding jacket for my wife (Icon Hella) and stumbled upon this website. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/ They have a liquidation sale going right now and have Fieldsheed mesh jackets as one of the items on sale. I've had these jackets in the past and love them. I just shrunk (lost >100 lbs) out of the old one I had. I have an Icon one now, but the Fieldsheet High Flow II has a liner in it and I had that one before. Love the liner and the jacket overall. So, I got it at $54. When it sells for $125 I call that a win. Can't wait for the weather to get better (or at least the end of March when I get back from SFAS and can ride again) to try this jacket out. |

Check Newenough also, they're super-cheap. Oh wait, they changed their name for some reason. Now it's http://www.motorcyclegear.com/ ~SM |

Tough for a company to change names like that, but it makes a whole lot more sense than "New Enough" ever did. |

"New Enough" back in the early days made perfect sense. what they used to sell was new enough, used, floor samples and the like, now it's more overstock type stuff |

quote:New Enough was started literally out of my closet over a decade ago. The business was a simple buy-sell-trade site for second hand, high quality motorcycle leathers. I chose newenough.com because it was descriptive of what I wanted to do. With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, the New Enough moniker was a poor choice. Who knew our business would evolve into what it is today? Everything we sell these days is brand new and first quality. We decided we needed a name that fit us better, and we found a great one: MotorcycleGear.com. You’ll continue to enjoy the same great crew, our fantastic “round-trip-shipping” service and the best closeout deals on the planet. Tell your friends about MotorcycleGear.com!

I got a Fieldsheer jacket from Motorcyclesuperstore last week for $69 that had been $169, picked up a new pair of gloves too. I'm always scared about ordering stuff like that and not being able to try it on but both items fit extremely well. Ordered it Monday afternoon while home at lunch and got it Wednesday afternoon while home at lunch. Great turn around. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a new rear tire from there for the Vulcan. The Buell wears shoes from there also. |
