Author Message   Sdecp Posted on Friday, January 21, 2011 - 09:12 pm:        I saw this at a booth at the NYC International Motorcycle Show today. I could not believe my eyes. I was all excited when I saw the picture of the 1125R on the booth advertisement, then I was saddened by the photo-shopped Yamaha logo.   Court Posted on Friday, January 21, 2011 - 09:22 pm:        They also made the Buell FJR which was displayed at Javits in 1997. Harley's amazing advertising agency was tasked with doing the Buell booth. They came up with fancy displays, shelving, portable slat wall systems and all sorts of fancy posters of folks in snappy Buell outfits. Problem was . . they apparently were unaware that Buell made motorcycles. One of the posters was a Yamaha with BUELL on the tank and it was sitting in an artists rendering of a showroom. The bike was at the far right hand side of the display poster that was printed and mounted on a foam board. I took my leatherman, carefully sliced off the right hand side and put the poster back. I still have the slice laying here. W T F what booth was this at? Court - good story. I mean Yamaha really cant say anything, cuz the bike is not a yamaha, Buell couldn't have said anything because of the Yamaha moniker.
