Ok, yesterday I was enjoying listening to streaming radio from the local radio station back in Florida (WJRR). It was working great and I could finally enjoy some music again after not really having any to listen to here. (We have AFN, but it's more Top 40 and Hip Hop vs Rock, that or Germany stations which is all pop, hip hop, Top 40) Well, I went to go use it today and it slaps me with a message about licensing and offers that options of my being US military, live outside US or live inside US. Of course I choose military as I am, but then they say it can take up to 60 hrs to find out if I can listen. Garrrr!!! It's driving my nuts with this crap. I just want to listen to the radio as I don't have any real options out here. Sometimes I hate living here with this stuff. (Don't get me wrong. I am enjoying being here, it's just these little things.) |

Loved JRR when I lived down there. MoFuggers Malt Liquor was funniest thing Ive heard, nearly ran off of I-4 from laughing so hard. Try setting it up as living in the US and see what it does |

Hammer: Won't work. They get me based off my IP. I filled out the thing that came up on the screen and sent an e-mail to tech support. We'll see what happens. They say they support the military working overseas. Let's see how far that goes. (Oh, they meaning Clear Channels.) And yeah, I remember when they started doing the Mo Fugger as well. Man that stuff was funny. Road: First I've heard of Pandora. Will check it out. (Message edited by cataract2 on January 21, 2011) |
