All I know is the Brewcity club backed out of planning it. Not sure who's taking it up now. I know I won't be this year. And I doubt it twill be at Alpine. |

Gotta be during the AMA Superbike race weekend, so folks can watch Erik Buell Racing in action. |

Not looking to promising. Looks like i should just book a room close to Road America and make it a weekend! |

Good idea. since there are no more Buell dealers unless they carry Erik new bike, involvement of a dealer would be a waste, unless you want to look at harleys all day. I'd throw my support to ebr and hang at the track |

As of now, I plan on being in East Troy on Wed. to set up camp at Country View Campgrounds and get a bite at Gus' Drive-in. HC 2011 (June 1st - June 4th) I'll leave on Sunday like last time. Is anyone with me? If we all show up, it's HomeComing! |

Considering I live about 30 minutes from there, consider me in! |

Well this year for some reason doesn't seem to even have much interest. It's a little over 500 miles for me to get there, but I'll still come and meet up with whoever wants to go. If nothing else, I'll ride up and watch the races at RA. Homecoming 2011. June 2-5th. |

I live 1300 miles away, but I'd still like to make it if work and other obligations allow. I went last year and had a great time. I hope something works out, even if it is more informal and less planned that last year. |

>>>I live 1300 miles away, but I'd still like to make it if work and other obligations allow. Me too. I've never had a bad time at Buell Homecoming . . . I guess it rained like the dickens in 1990 . . but it was a great time. |

The Buell Homecoming demise is greatly exaggerated. BrewCity Thunderbikes wont be doing it, as it takes up far too much of our time at the meetings. We're planning on doing it the weekend of the AMA races at Road America, which is June 3rd through the 5th. http://www.roadamerica.com/Races/RaceInformation.a sp?id=240 We've talked with Erik Buell Racing, and have a few things planned.... Thursday ride to Great Lake Dragaway in Union Grove for some drag racing... Friday, a ride around the southern Kettle Moraine area. And visit to Erik Buell Racing.... Saturday, a ride to the AMA races at Elkhart Lake. Right now, there is no formal dinner planned. But we were thinking of doing an informal thing at Romas http://www.romaswi.com/ It wont be as "planned" as last year. Rocco and Dana did an OUTSTANDING job. And I, and the rest of us locals just don't have the time to commit to such a large event. Any thoughts, suggestions? |

Steve, sounds good to me. Doesn't need to be any more then that really. So is everyone staying in the East Troy area again, or moving north toward the track? |

Is there a certain establishment people are planning to stay at? I am from Texas and I really want to make it this year. I have ridden from Wisconsin to Texas and had no problem. I dont see why I cant do it twice in a week lol |

Haven't figured it all out yet. I'll contact Alpine again to see what their prices are, as well as some other local hotels. |

Personally, I don't really care if there are any planned events at all. The things I look forward to are - Meeting and hanging out with Buell riders
- Riding in Southern Wisconsin with people who know the roads
- Shamelessly ogling other Buells
Any other stuff is nice, but certainly not critical, at least to me. Having said that, anyone thinking about a day at Blackhawk? |

Planning is great. But if only 2 Buell riders showed up with nothing planned, I would consider it a Homecoming!!! Wish I could go this year, but all my extra $$$ are dedicated to racing! |
