This thread is about semantics. First subject: On this forum, what IS a "moderator"? |

No "moderators" on account of we loath moderation. We like big jugs and lots of ground pounding torque. Sometimes people are trashy and mess up the place, so we have "custodians." We have and have had some of the best I've ever seen. Some aren't even officially formally on the roster, but they are much appreciated. |

I never found much traction with the change from Moderator to custodian . . .as I have mentioned before, it brings up sensory recollections of that sawdust stuff they used to use in elementary school to clean up the occasional hurl mess. In the new BWB . . .where topics are sent to a separate area . . .Excremenicated?, the brave souls that take on this work should be "Excremencators" YMMV, always consider the source. |

Why it is..........MOM! Ya crap on the floor in the kitchen where the conversations are happening, she will reprimand you and clean it up so the conversations can continue without the stink. Come back to crap on the floor again she will put you out unless you can prove to be suffering some illness that leaves you unable to help yourself. Even then you will be offered help before being locked in a closet. |

on another forum there is a thread about worse mod ever semantically troublesome The OP was trying to get to a local version of the ECU-drill experience what he did was get a dog pile from grammar nazis and chest puffed bravado from the humorless mods (one mod, both with humor and grammar, took the extra step, and posted a history of the OPs antics on the board) Its winter on a motorcycle forum ! |

Hmm, The moderator on my air rifle doesn't totally stop the noise. By cleaning up the turbulence that can over take the pellet when it leaves the barrel, it can make for a tighter grouping down range. By removing some of the startling noise it allows for a target rich environment to stay that way for a longer period of time. Maybe we should have called them shrouderators. |

City, I only ride when it's warm and sunny. Must be at least 70' with clear skies. My mangina won't allow me to get any sand in it. I going to start a brand new web site and call it fairweatherposeurs.com In other news, those power madd handlebar gauntlets work pretty well. A little wide, but over all they will work great this winter. Was out yesterday doing some night riding. It was 37', and all I needed were my basic winter gloves. (Iron Clad winter tundra's) Didn't need to use liners, or the grip heaters. |

careful with www.fairweatherriders.com I would think that would be dangerously close to the 'look, feel, and process' of H-D. I fear their lawyers getting all fired up as we speak especially if you have Tshirts, do-rags, manopoly boards, chrome emblems, tassles, fringe, leather chaps with studs....(well the list goes on for days) |
