I'd been suffering from a major case of motorcycle cabin fever. It warmed up enough to thaw out the roads today. Felt good to get my knees in the breeze. |

The roads are clear here, but there's too damned much ice in the driveway to risk taking out either of my bikes today... |

9 of us are going for a ride tomorrow. It will be in the 40's in the morning, but my gear works well. Going for a hundred or so mile run to "Stunt Wars" to see the show. Florida weather is funny in the winter....it can be in the 20's two days in a row, and have a high of 75 the next day. The only thing that keeps me from my weekend rides is if the cold front decides to come in on the weekend with the associated bad weather....It hasn't been "too cold to ride" yet...but Feb. isn't here yet. |

All the city roads are clear, but in my addition the roads are a glaze of packed snow. I refuse to pull my bike insurance! I'll wait it out and plug in at the first opportunity. In the meantime...keep gloating. I hate you guys!

I added the Buell Race intake a week or so ago. I was anxious to see how the bike ran. I don't know if it was the intake or the cool crisp air, but it ran awesome! I get the benefit of getting that ugly bread box off the bike while giving it a little extra lungs. The intake honk was fantastic. Always loved that on my Uly. |

I heard a neighbor this morning- gave his old XL a good warm up, then headed out for what I guess was a nice ride today. Got into the mid 40's today, lots of sunshine... had the heavy snow/ice/wet grass in the backyard not been in the way, I'd have gotten out on my bike! Gotta thread hijack, but it's relevant: "That hit the spot" is what I thought after just finishing a bowl of homemade chili and cornbread... I'd never really cooked up a batch of homemade chili, for whatever reason, but what I've got in the fridge is Da BOMB!!!

Chilli sounds good. I looked very macho today sitting in Puckett's in my motorcycle gear. Drinking hot chocolate. With marshmallows. |

I've been riding all winter...about 30 miles a day. The mornings are cold...usually in the 20-30's...but the nights are ok. The bike loves the cold. I do not. I know it's cold when the bike fails to warm the right leg or crotch. My tank often has my dried snot on it in the morning. |

http://www.puckettsgrocery.com/index.php Oddly enough, when I was searching for images, I found this one. Recognize an ugly galoot standing next to a blue M2? http://www.flickr.com/photos/busymom/5176933645/ Think I might be there too much? |

OK- looks to be a purty guuud greasy spoon. I'll definitely have to meet you at one, or all three. |

Ridin' daily and grateful for the 45-50 mpg. As long as there's no ice on the roads, I'll take the Uly and leave the cage at home. |

Hey there! Just listened to some Kraftwerk, but it was remixed, sucked. |

86129- IMHO, very few remixes are an improvement on the originals. Like the tubers that were made into choppers...why can't people leave stuff alone? B. |
