Someday,somebody is going to be so upset at a funeral that a life sentence will be worth it......... and they will open fire at a funeral and mow them all down. Once may not change their ways,but twice should certainly slow them down,if not put a complete stop to this BS. |

They hate the US so much so why are they fighting so hard to be able to use our constitution? I think since they hate the US so much and all that jazz they should be deported. |

Hooray for the "1" judge that actually said the father of the slain soldier had the right to bury his son in peace! The father was correct in saying that when blood is spilled, it will be on the hands of the supreme court because it is only a matter of time before some distraught soul takes action on these parishoners. |

Much as I HATE and wish that these folks would follow the martyrs to receive their 72 virgins... or whatever perversion of "religion" they profess, I am glad that our Constitution has risen above their hatred.
I also agree in the fight against westboro baptist "church" (deliberately NOT capitalized) - use the First Amendment against them. Can't wait for a funeral. Somehow, somebody should find a way to fight feces with feces. |

Define "church"...
Ft Bstrd made a great point earlier- are they a "church" or just a group of nutjob lawyers posing as a church?
I stand by my earlier posts- how can they be weakened/subverted/undermined/eliminated/extermina ted creatively, within legal boundaries?
In other words, as members of this "church", how can their lives be made HELL on Earth 24/7 for what they have done and continue to do? |

Strategically parked chicken and pig semi's, upwind of the church and interment- maybe also a flatbed of roadkill skunks and possums, previously kept refrigerated until the day before Fred croaked...
LOTS of amorous same-sex couples within plain view, maybe even choreographed by Michael Moore...

As much as I despise what they (WBC) are doing, I think the Supreme Court was right in their decision.....
Its up to the local governments to craft ordinances that will keep the funeral of anyone from becoming a circus.
It would also amuse me to no end to have WBC "protesters" be counter-protested by folks carrying 4x8 sheets of plywood that block all sight of the WBC nut jobs. Maybe the plywood should be decorated with quotes like "Why cant we all just get along?" and stereos/loudspeakers blasting Lenon's Imagine |

PLEASE give a few bucks to the Snyder family. Unfortunately the Phelps family of that nameless "church" is boasting how the money they receive from the lawsuit will go to further their evil. All being done in the name of that thing they mistakenly call a "baptist church." (again, I apologize to ALL LEGITIMATE BAPTISTS, I feel your shame)

(sorry about the hijack above - this was afterall about the Christina Green funeral, I just couldn't sit and do NOTHING after the Supreme Court ruling yesterday. While I have an intellectual agreement with the ruling, I have a passionate emotional disagreement - and the Snyder Family has to pony up loads of money yet) |

I just heard last night on the 11 o'clock news that they were in Kentucky protesting a Catholic church there. I may have made the two hour drive if I had known soon enough but it seems plenty of others showed up. Only four Westboros showed up and they left after 30 minutes.
