I've hardly seen a game this season - other interests - but I note from the ESPN scoreboard they pounded the Giants. Should I get enthused? |

No you should not. But hey, at least you don't have to worry about that ever present late Favre interception! I so called that pick last year. Be fore game even started. All I could do not to pester my Minnesota brothers about it. |

No, they're an all passing no run offense. Oh and they lost to my Lions and their two pro bowl starters.

As a Giants fan I have to say that the Pack played a great game, but the Giants played a crappy game. I give the Packers credit, because they did an awesome job. But I don't think it would have been that much of a blowout if Big Blue had been playing 100%. With the Eagles losing last night, the Bears may not give it 100% in Green Bay next weekend, which means the Packers should beat them. If the Packers win against the Bears, they're in the playoffs. The Bears already have the #2 seed locked in thanks to the Eagles loss, so I'd bet on the Pack to win this weekend. This means the Giants won't make it into the playoffs, but with their performance in the past two games, they don't deserve it. |

Pack got beat by Lions after losing Rodgers in the first half, then came closer than anyone to beating NE, at home, with a QB making his first start. Running game may be anemic, but getting better, and the defense is great! Bears will not be able to hide for long. |

I don't like the Giants and like Eli even worse! I haven't liked him since draft day his rookie year. The melt down vs Philly was great and to see Rodgers pick apart the Giants' D was just as great. |

Scooter808484 Posted on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 - 10:55 am: Pack got beat by Lions after losing Rodgers in the first half, That's the excuse? They scored exactly 0 points in the first half that Rodgers played in. Detroit was using their 3rd string qb in that game, as well as several other games this season. Packers will go no where in the play-offs, they can't run. I think Atlanta will have the honors of losing to the Patriots in the Superbowl. |

They scored exactly 0 points in the first half that Rodgers played in. Detroit was using their 3rd string qb in that game, as well as several other games this season. Even the '96 packers lost to the Colts. It was the Colts 1 and only win that year. The week after the Lions, the pack went in to New England and nearly won that game. With an inexperienced backup QB. More than one source has said the one team NOBODY wants to face in the Playoffs is the Packers. That is with 1/3rd of their team on Injured reserve. If Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley were healthy, I think we'd see a whole different picture in the NFC North. |

I agree about Grant, and that's my main point. No run no win in January. His being gone hurts more than Finley from what I've seen. The lions loss comments were just add on jabs cuz I haven't had the chance in years. |

Scooter808484 Posted on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 - 10:55 am: Pack got beat by Lions after losing Rodgers in the first half, And they still drove down for what would have been the winning TD if Flynn hadn't thrown a pick in the endzone. Don't get me wrong, since you FINALLY got rid of Millen, the Lions might have a chance to get good, and I think they're a lot better than their record. It's the Bears that have pulled everything off with smoke and mirrors. They beat GB, but GB picked Cutler 4 times and had them all called back because of penalties and scored more than one TD that was called back because of penalties as well. Heck the Lions should have beaten them both times. The only team that can run in the NFC is Atlanta, but if you play them you're playing indoors on a fast track, perfect for a throwing team. GB got beat by them too, but came down to the last second in a really good game. Philly, they've stunk the show up the last two games. We won't even talk about the NFC Worst. So it comes down to Atlanta, GB and the Saints. Don't be too ready to give the silver football to New England. GB ran all over them, and as we've all heard GB can't run. Run the ball, keep Brady off the field. Their defense ain't that great. |

Bears are going to win.........and that's that. I don't think it's going to be a boring game. I also don't think the Bears are going to lay down because the #2 seed is locked. The rivalry is too big. Because I'm a Bears fan, I think Chicago will win. You can talk all the numbers and stats you want. The winner is going to be the team that does NOT have their head up their own rear end. I have seen some fine examples by both teams as of late. Besides, Lovey said we are gonna win! GO BEARS!!! |

the Bears are trying for their 12th win of the season and the Packers are going for their 10th and it just so happens to be the last regular season game so what does that say? but the Bears and the Packers may have something in common, neither one of those teams will be playing next weekend! |

The Beauty of the NFL, (as compared to NCAA), is they get to play to see. So we'll see! That said...the Bears still suck! Go Pack Go Ducks |

Well, I still think the Eagles are going the distance. That being said, I've been very interested in Joe Webb since I found out the Vikes picked him up in the preseason. He is a younger, bigger Mike Vick. |

All I can say is that, as a Giants fan, I've realized that nothing is impossible. And that whole "on any given Sunday" phrase is so true. I run a football pool each week here at work, and it's entertaining to see when we ALL get a guess wrong on what should have been a sure thing, (like the Eagles on Tuesday). So perhaps the saying should now be "on any given Sunday, Thursday, Monday, sometimes Saturday and even on any given Tuesday..." |
