Stopped in at his Double Lung Archery shop in La Porte City.Pretty cool place with lots of bows/equipment and moving targets in the indoor range.Great to see Dave and he hasn't changed a bit.Left with a dozen arrows and then off to his old home,Silver Eagle h-d. Picked up a couple of intake manifold clamps for Suzie Q(97 S1) and an XB oil filter. Pretty slow there, but it was the middle of the day, middle of the week. Sales man came right over, but I told him I was just there for parts. Parts guy came out to see if I needed anything too...and off to the parts counter we went. |

Aaaaa Dave,I still have to spend a afternoon going thru all the cable adjustments,There are 6 of them.(I'm in the middle of making my #2 bathroom "shittable" for a while yet). A single layer of 2" high density Styrofoam worked great as a backstop with my WT Hunter.Thinking that might not be enuf for the Delta V.....or if I can even hit it. Might have to get a bigger back stop to start with.Really don't want to lose arrows in the snow. I hope it works great and that I can spear a coyote some day from my veranda. I might have to get a few chickens in the back yard as "attractants". On the other hand,if the 'grunt, draw and shoot' Delta V becomes too much,I might have to get a real bow from you. Looks like it's a lot easier way to have arrow fun. |

I'll be doing some target shooting tomorrow afternoon with my 33 year old PSE. Bare bow. There's something about shooting without sites that I really enjoy. |
