I like it. I put around 20,000 miles on a CL back in the day. Yours is more badass! Ever heard of a site called "the chopper underground"? Betcha they would appreciate your work at least as much as me. Pan Dan. |

Hey Mike ,that,s a cool bike! I like the shotgun style exhaust. the paintings on the tank ,did you use a black marker for it? Here is mine,

I like that bike, the rims are really cool. Whats that thing on the front left? an oil cooler?looks like your bars are upside down clubmans with gussets? The tank was painted white with an car color matched spray paint from auto zone then gone over with black and white paint markers then cleared. my total cost for my bike is going to only be $500 Bike its self was only $150 and it ran and came with the title!! this is how it started

Thanks, the rims i painted red and yes that thing is an oil cooler made from copper pipe (bended around a bigger radius pipe) and the bars are made from 22mm iron pipe bended and welded together ,i also used some iron horse shoes in the build I traded the rear shocks for the peanut tank Only bought the exhaust tape and some brake line new, and put some new plugs ,fresh oil and tires on. The bike has been outside for a couple of years before i got it ,but after i checked/re-done the wiring it was running again! Its a fun challenge to keep the costs low as possible! |

not in too awful bad shape, but the tank is shot and rust is bad. Figure I might as well hack it up...you guys see potential here?

Anyone besides me dig reading "The Horse"? Solidly independent, anti- new HD, mostly old school (Shovel or earlier) chops, welcoming jap and brit chops equally. Once read about a V65 chop, MAJOR mutant job, veeery cool!! I really should get a 'scrip. |

Levi, Careful with the CB400, those buggers are worth a bit of $$ these days, not as much as the 350's but more than you would think. Brad |

+1, don't hack up a 400F unless it's too far gone... Used to have one, I was too big for it but it sure was a nice ride! |
