Reep, I did play the beer ferry (NOT fairy) last year at Homecoming along with Spidey. Those bags can fit a lot of cases. Believe Court has a few pics, remind him to tell you someday... |

Alpine is very hard to lock down. If there is a concert there. In which Weekends they do.... rooms will be scarce. Rocco and I worked with them to make it happen. Meaning 450 plus dinner, band and filling there joint. If they have a concert??? then rooms are spoken for long in advance. Your best bet is to be where the action will be. In the area of Road America. |

If your coming here then try Spotted Cow. It out sells all of leinenkugel's beers by its self. |

Prior - I remember standing there in the store thinking "Where in the world are you guys going to put that beer??" If I remember right, you had to empty them out first by either wearing what was already in there or getting others to stuff their jackets but when it was all said and done there was still room for ice if you needed. This year there better be a bottle opener mounted on the outside! |

Neil, You just had to throw that in there... Erik's a PA guy, and I know Spidey has brought him a few bottles in the past. I've got a pile of vacation saved this year for my wedding and honeymoon so may not make homecoming this year, but would love to stack the bags full for you guys! Prior |

Court - I know it's going to be great. How could a gathering of Buell-heads possibly be anything less than great? I just don't know where it's going to be great. I'd hope we'd be in the Greater Metropolitan East Troy area - this is Buell homecoming, after all. Have you or Ian worked out anything with Alpine Valley (or anyplace else)? If I missed some definitive information in the archive, please go easy on me - I can't find the ketchup in my 'fridge either. |

>>>I'd hope we'd be in the Greater Metropolitan East Troy area - this is Buell homecoming, after all. Duh?? . . . . . .of course we'll be in metro East Troy . . at least on Wednesday and Thursday night. Heck . . we have an event at Gus's we need to attend on Thursday night. I'll give Alpine Valley a call . . I doubt it'll be a problem. I see that since Live Nation purchased them that the Alpine Valley Resort doesn't even appear on their suggested places to stay while attending concerts. But, as has been mentioned, the locals know about it and traffic would be a pain. We'll hope there are no concerts on Wednesday or Thursday night . . if so, we'll simply relocate. Has anyone counted the days yet? I'm so whooped about about the races and trying to get to as many as I can . . I can't stand it. Likely one of the most exciting years in Buell's history . . in my personal opinion. Court |

Camping at Mukwanago County Park is super cheap. Also, you can fit up to 20 peeps in one group campground... same price for one person for the entire site as it is for 20. Last year was only around 50 bucks to reserve for four nights I think. I can't commit, but I will call Dale and see if he will commit as he stepped up last year when my original co-pilot blew a gasket and opted out. Anyone can reserve a group spot there... very clean campground, with pit toilets and showers down at the pond/ swimming hole. The no alcohol policy scared some people away last year, but that makes it family friendly and ok for those who are under aged. Just PM me if anyone wants more info on this campground. It is approximately 12 miles north west of East Troy in some beautiful rolling hills. Bugs were not bad, but be prepared for ear wigs... yeah... earwigs. I hate those bastards ! |
