Aerostich did a GREAT job repairing my suit after my accident this past Hallowe'en. The only way you can tell it was repaired is that the new red sleeve and red ballistic patch is a much brighter red than the rest of the suit (red fabrics fade quickly). Other than that, you'd never know what the suit looked like after my "incident." As for my BODY... I'm pretty much back to 100%. There is still some residual discoloration and swelling just above the kneecap, but it doesn't hurt... in fact, it's oddly numb. The orthopedist said that wasn't unusual, as the amount of fluid separated the skin from the nerve endings so the nerves don't reach the surface at that point. He seems to feel that the swelling will eventually completely fade away along with the discoloration. The important thing is that there was no other damage to the knee beyond all that fluid that drained into it. Now I have to get to work putting the 1125R back together (though I'll admit the K1200LT is a MUCH better "cold weather bike"). |

There's a red front fender and tail section FS in the classifieds for $50 each, not my ad, just trying to help. They are great prices! |

Thanks, Toona... but I have all the parts I need. Just need the motivation (and LESS cold outside) to get started. |
