I`m kinda embarrassed for throwing this out on Quick Board, but oh well. I thought some of you might be interested in having first pick. Besides this place is kinda like home to me since I usually visit once or twice a day and I figured that you all wouldn`t mind. I have been going through all kinds of stress and bad feelings over here lately regarding the financial situation that I`m in and need to pay off some debt and try to salvage the business once again. Things have steadily gone down hill for about 2 1/2 years now and I just can`t seem to get it right. I have finally come to realise that the dream is over for me (for now) and that I need to liquidate and make a new start. I will do what I can to answer questions, send pictures, package and ship. Here`s the first round of toys to go. More to follow when I have time. If you are interested in something PM me and I will send the CL shortcut 2008 Buell 1125R excellent 2002 KTM 520 exc insane, heavily loaded and good 2004 KTM 125 sx bad ass, almost good 1989 Honda TRX 250R good 1996 Yamaha Blaster custom 80cc flat-tracker 2003 20` enclosed trailer heavily loaded race trailer (car or bike) good 2000 Ford e-350 extended kinda rough but not junk 1999 pinball Harley Davidson very good 1989 pinball Black Knight 2000 good 198? pinball Check Point good 1981 Arcade Donkey King good ???? You know what... sometimes life is like that... you try and you try and it is like throwing all your energy into a deep black hole... I have tried and tried to build a stable life and good career up here (south central wisconsin) FOR 20 YEARS... and it seems as soon as I have the finish line in sight... someone comes and shakes up the track I am on... All I can say to you is this, don't ever give up on your dreams... sometimes you have to lose everything before you realize what is really important in life... sometimes you have to surrender before things turn around... Sometimes you go down the wrong path, but you have invested so damn much in that path that you can't bear to let it go and see what is next and move on... Things are not easy right now for most of us... I am considering just up and leaving everything I have built over the last ten years... but I don't know if it is the right thing to do... I tried to make a friend of mine take my eight foot, fully decorated christmas tree with him when he was at my house today, he has little kids and no tree... maybe if I drop it off at his house he can't say no... I don't know why some things happen... And sometimes it will make you nuts trying to figure it out... but then you have those moments of clarity like I had last Sunday, that I am going to go after what I really want, whether it kills me, or not... I got to try... Oh, ok, I can't help you out with buying stuff... but I know how you feel... you are not alone... |

"(for now)" Man, really sorry to hear about the stress and strain, but glad you're taking action and see it as a "for now" situation. Hang in there, and keep moving forward. "All I can say to you is this, don't ever give up on your dreams... " +1 |

I agree that its just stuff. Just gotta get rid of a ton of crap before I can move on.(more complication to the problems) The part that truly sucks is the failure. Been in this home for the past 11 years and honestly thought I'd be here till I died. Been in business for over 15 years and am fearful that I may be going out of business by the time my 16th anniversary comes next March. I realise there are many out there in worse shape than I am. Everywhere I go there are vacant homes, offices and factories and lots of them. I guess I should be thankful that I still have a chance at survival but it doesn`t look good. |

The part that truly sucks is the failure. It's always a tough pill to swallow, but the experience is priceless. No doubt you know that most "successful" people have experienced plenty of failure. It's still hard when your directly under the shadow of the crumbling wall of fate. I hope things take a turn for the better soon. |

Sorry to hear about your situation, Neal. I really hope you get things turned around. You may want to put a link to this thread in the for sale section. |

Bro, sorry to hear it. I'm making 1/2 of my previous salary and staying 150 miles from home 4 days per week, and I'm lucky. Lots of us in construction related fields are in a weird place. I know that does not help you. Life works out over the long run. As bad as it sucks now, eventually it will be OK, things just work out that way. |

"Lots of us in construction related fields are in a weird place. I know that does not help you." Amen brother! It WILL get better though. The gutting it out isn't much fun however. |

"The construction unemployment rate jumped to 18.8% in November as the sector lost another 5,000 jobs since October" Yep... Things really suck right now. http://ecmweb.com/news/construction-unemployment-r ate-20101220/ |
