Way cool - couple the working Lab with the smartest breed - standard poodle... Supposed to make excellent friends, companions - and smart readers-of-moods, too! (Seen them called Labradoodle too) |

The young Danger_Dog puppy looks like a real winner. How large will Doogal grow? |

Poodle - Lab - Water Retrievers on both sides of the family Start the retrieving training NOW (I like "Training Your Retriever" by James Lamb Free - Out of print but available many places) Train him up right & you will have a helper for every task - Fetching tools - Picking up the yard - Bringing clothes - . . . |

Yeah, retrieves a tennis ball and will sit for a reward on day 1. Looks like he'll be easy to train. Should grow to medium size. |

Cheers for that. He's a really calm and together puppy. Spends most of his non-mischief time crashed out on my office floor.

I have the same mutt. It won't look like a lab too much longer, as the wirey hair keeps growing. Great friggin dogs. Ours chewed for one year then stopped. Very well behaved and kid friendly.

Yeah Dave, man up. It is called a labradoodle. It's embarrassing to say, but you might as well get used to it. |
