KLR 650's have had bad balancer lever (Doohicky's) for over 20 years, and Kawi refuse's to admit it or do anything about it. Most put in aftermarket one's by eagle mike. |

Well apparently whatever is wrong with the new Ninja they don't want dealers fixing it since if you have one they want you to return it for a refund. |

Whoops, doesn't sound good. Certainly comes across bad with the unexplained recalling of every bike. Sounds as suspicious as Tiger Woods' accident story did. |

I will say this for Kawasaki. They stand behind their products. Their products are generally rock solid dependable. I see this recall as KMC taking responsibility for whatever the issue is. We don't really need to know, although it would be interesting and I'm sure it will come out soon enough. |

Evidently Kawasaki learned a lot from the Toyota debacle. Say as little as possible don't admit or deny anything. Looks like a sensible & well thought out procedure, hard to see where to fault them. |

Quite frankly, I think it's a brilliant move. |

Kawasaki's quality control is second to none. Unfortunately, bad things happen no matter what. Toyota's problems were blown way out of proportion. Kawasaki is wise to get out in front of this. |

I don't see where to fault Kawasaki on this. An engineering flaw snuck in there on a new bike. It can happen. No doubt it will be back once it's fixed. Still looks like a great bike. This is far better than denying the problem exists. |

Don't you remember the heat problems that the FJR & ST1300 had (have)? Didn't the FJR's release get held up due to it? Maybe a big company like the big 3 can afford to hold up one model for awhile while Buell had to try and deal with it during production. I still credit the Badweb for helping me head off the problems that would creep up with my S3. In the meantime 3 different dealers blew off most of the issues and told me things like "They all run that way" or "Don't believe everything you read on the internet". I still believe Buell's downfall was the dealer network and not Buell's fault. |

I think it is great that the start up company Erik Buell Racing have approximately 8500 of you doing systems R&D for their first public offering. To all of you who have bought 1125's I say thank you. |

Give 'em a break. When HD starts designing brand new engines every 2-3 years instead of every 15, they might have a teething problem or two, like cams galling..... Kawi did the right thing, and has one hell of a record of making stout machines. I've owned 5 Kawi street bikes, zero problems. I've owned two Buells......I love my Buell. |

Japanese M/C were so bad I stopped riding for 15 years The recall parts were for the most part Japanese vendor parts. Court Dave or Elf in the know can detail it better than I can Honda wings with frames that needed a coupla extra passes at the local welding shop Kawi 350s safest bike ever built would sieze up before you left your drive way Honda magnesium hubs on the Elsinore that broke after 1 moto pick a brand and you will find quality issues. In 35 years of riding Buell was the only company that sent recalls and pestered you till they were completed. And with out the government or courts telling them too. ( Not Our Court ) |
